TJM 4×4 EQUIPPED GOLD COAST NERANG
TJM 4×4 Equipped Gold Coast is located at 2 Spencer Road Nerang on the northern end of the Gold Coast. The Gold Coast location services customers from all over the coast from Tweed Heads in the south to Coomera and Oxenford in the north from this central location.
TJM 4×4 Equipped Gold Coast opened on a service road at Burleigh Heads in the mid 90’s. From inception this store has been owned and operated by a franchisee. In 2007 the store relocated to a larger premise and a more central location on the Pacific Motorway Service Road at Nerang.
In 2010 TJM 4×4 Equipped Gold Coast was sold to a new franchisee. The store remains at this location on Spencer Road at Nerang to this day. In 2017 the TJM 4×4 Equipped Nerang underwent a showroom and workshop upgrade increasing space and adding a new warehouse facility. This move is in line with the growth seen on the Gold Coast in the 4×4 Accessory market over the last decade.
TJM 4×4 Equipped Gold Coast is currently owned and operated by 3 business partners as part of the BKR Group.
TJM’s History
Back in the 70’s when 4WD’s were few and far between, three adventure seeking mates got their ‘off road thrill’ with customised Volkswagen Beetles supped up as beach buggies. Each fitted with custom made bull bars, roll bars and sand tyres – they drew the attention of friends and bystanders. Before long, Lloyd Taylor, Cliff Jones and Steve Mollenhauer were making hand-made custom bars for a growing number of fans. As the demand continued to grow, they decided it was time to get serious.
In 1973, with little more than their combined initials, shared passion and appreciation for quality products – TJM was founded and the rest is history. They were pioneers and TJM became the first company in Australia to manufacture and distribute quality 4WD equipment.
TJM’s product range has extensively grown to include; steel and alloy bull bars, nudge bars, side and rear protection bars, side steps, trade racks, roof racks, TJM recovery equipment, TJM winches, TJM XGS suspension, Airtec snorkels, TJM Pro Lockers and TJM roof top tents & awnings.
While TJM has grown to be a sophisticated operation, they have never forgotten the key elements that resulted in the formation of the brand.

During the 1990’s TJM Products was acquired by publicly listed company CMI Limited. In 2015 CMI Limited sold TJM Products to Aeroklas Australia who are the Australian arm of automotive accessory multinational EPG Group from Thailand.
